FROM THE NASHVILLE SCENE: "In 2008 Infinity Cat issued another pivotal release: MEEMAW's Glass Elevator. The EP showcased the feral stylings of Jessica McFarland, the off-kilter, catchy songwriting of Daniel Pujol and the hangdog goofs of former Cowboy Dynamite frontboy Wez Traylor. Like Be Your Own Pet before them, MEEMAW was entirely too good for how young its members were. And though they never shot to the heights BYOP did, they unraveled almost as fast. "
By the time "Glass Elevator" was named "Album Of The Year" by the Nashville Scene, MEEMAW was well on it's way to disolving into three bands: Heavy Cream, PUJOL, and Natural Child. All three found success on Infinity cat. But this album is still one of our favorites of all time.
And we thought they we long gone until we packed up for the move. We've got a few copies left!
